Bobbie Malone grew up in San Antonio and earned a PhD in American history from Tulane University. Afterwards, she directed the Office of School Services at the Wisconsin Historical Society, where she wrote and edited books for the state’s classrooms. More recently, she wrote the biography of mid-20th century childhood author/illustrator, Lois Lenski: Storycatcher and Striding Lines: The Unique Story Quilts of Rumi O’Brien. She and her husband Bill Malone have just completed their first book as coauthors, Nashville’s Songwriting Sweethearts: The Boudleaux and Felice Bryant Story.
