Norma Elia Cantú


Norma E. Cantú currently serves as the Norine R. and T. Frank Murchison Distinguished Professor of the Humanities at Trinity University in San Antonio. She has published widely in the areas of folklore, literary studies, women’s studies, and border studies. She cofounded CantoMundo, a space for Latinx poets and poetry. Currently living in San Antonio, she claims los dos Laredos as home, but she has lived in California, Washington, DC, Kansas City, Missouri, and Spain. Her lastest book is Meditación Fronteriza: Poems of Love, Life, and Labor.
