About the Event

Historian and fourth-generation Oklahoman Russell Cobb tracks 20th century court cases and the burgeoning oil industry in Ghosts of Crook County: An Oil Fortune, a Phantom Child, and the Fight for Indigenous Land. Cobb chronicles land-grabbing, greed, and the legacy of a boy who may never have existed in this part-history, part-true crime. This session will be perfect for fans of David Grann’s The Killers of the Flower Moon.
