Kristen Arnett

Kristen Arnett is the author of the novel With Teeth, which was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for fiction and the New York Times bestselling novel Mostly Dead Things, which was shortlisted for the VCU Cabell First Novelist Award. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, TIME, The Cut, Oprah Magazine, and elsewhere. She lives in Orlando, Florida. Her latest novel is Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One.

Elizabeth McCracken

Elizabeth McCracken is the author of eight books, including The Hero of This Book, The Souvenir Museum (Longlisted for the National Book Award), Bowlaway, Thunderstruck & Other Stories (winner of the 2014 Story Prize and Longlisted for the National Book Award), and The Giant’s House (a National Book Award Finalist). Her stories have appeared in The Best American Short Stories and have won three Pushcart Prizes, a National Magazine Award, and an O. Henry Prize. She has served on the faculty at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and currently holds the James A. Michener Chair in Fiction at the University of Texas at Austin.
