Etta Easton

Etta Easton is a certified hopeless romantic who now writes contemporary romance. Her stories are full of humor, relatable heroines, swoonworthy heroes, and Black joy. She lives in Central Texas with her husband and two young kids. Her latest book is The Love Simulation.

Gabriella Gamez

Gabriella Gamez is a Mexican American writer from South Texas. She has a bachelor’s degree in English, works as a Library Aide, and is studying Library and Information Sciences to become a Youth Librarian. Her latest book is The Next Best Fling (Librarians in Love).

Marian Navarro

Marian Navarro is a producer at Texas Public Radio, NPR’s San Antonio affiliate.

Marian writes daily news content for Morning Edition and helps produce Fronteras, a program that explores the border and beyond through the lens of arts, culture, and history,

You can hear Marian anchoring the mid-day newscasts, occasionally hosting Morning Edition, or on TPR’s daily news roundup, TPR News Now.

Marian has also moderated several panel events at TPR and beyond, with topics ranging from Latinos in comedy, to Día de los Muertos, to San Antonio’s culinary scene.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021, where she interned at the Voces Oral History Center and worked on the third season of the student-led podcast, Darkness.
