Joe Jiménez’s essays and poems have recently appeared in The Adroit Journal, Iron Horse, RHINO, Aster(ix), and Waxwing, and on the PBS NewsHour, and Lambda Literary sites. Jiménez was awarded a Lucas Artists Literary Artists Fellowship from 2017-2020. He lives in San Antonio, and is a member of the Macondo Writing Workshops. His new YA novel, Drown the Wind, is forthcoming and he’s appearing at this year’s Festival for his most recent poetry collection, Rattlesnake Allegory.
