For the third year in a row, SABF is proud to bring The Moth Mainstage to San Antonio as part of Book Festival weekend. Stories are important—whether they’re told in books, like those presented at the Book Festival, or in the age-old tradition of true stories told live. Stories are what unite us. Come join us at the Majestic Theatre on FRIDAY, APRIL 5, for a memorable night of storytelling. The theme of the night will be “Occasional Magic.” 

The Moth is an international storytelling show that features five storytellers on stage, without notes, sharing a true and authentic story from their personal experiences. Moth shows are renowned for the great range of human experience they showcase. Each show starts with a theme, and the storytellers explore it, often in unexpected ways. The shows dance between documentary and theater, creating a unique, intimate, and often enlightening experience for the audience.
