About the Event

It might seem unlikely that a place designed for the departed could be teeming with life. But cemeteries have long served multiple purposes. In Cemetery Birding: An Unexpected Guide to Discovering Birds in Texas, Jennifer Bristol talks about the unique and approachable experience of birding and enjoying nature in cemeteries, as well as insights into the art and local history of a region.

Jeanette Honermann

Moderator Jeanette Honermann is a naturally curious community connector, outdoor recreation and eco-enthusiast. Growing up as a proud Air Force military brat, her home base was always the library and she was “that kid” who checked out the maximum number of books every single visit.
