About the Event

Hanif Abdurraqib grew up in Columbus, Ohio during the same period LeBron James was playing high school basketball in Akron and later with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Basketball is more than a sport in There’s Always This Year: On Basketball and Ascension, though: it’s a source of solace, inspiration, and discovery. Join this unmissable session for a discussion about community, loss, connection, hope, and honoring homecomings.
