Megan Kimble

Megan Kimble is an investigative journalist and the author of Unprocessed. A former executive editor at the Texas Observer, Kimble writes about housing, transportation, and urban development for Texas MonthlyNew York Times, Guardian, and Bloomberg CityLab. She lives in Austin, Texas. Her latest book is City Limits: Infrastructure, Inequality, and the Future of America’s Highways.

Gilbert Garcia is an opinion writer and columnist for the San Antonio Express-News. A native of Brownsville, Texas, he has nearly 30 years of experience writing for daily and weekly newspapers and has won awards for his reporting on music, sports, religion, and politics. He is the author of the 2012 book, Reagan’s Comeback: Four Weeks in Texas That Changed American Politics Forever, published by Trinity University Press. One of his feature stories also appeared in the national anthology, Da Capo Best Music Writing 2001.
