Jeannie has over 30 years of experience working in non-profit environments, primarily in the healthcare and biomedical research industry. She was CFO for a large trauma teaching hospital, at a cancer center, and for a basic biomedical research facility funded primarily by federal grants. She recently retired from a firm that provides temporary CFO services to small and mid-size organizations. Her clients there included organizations as diverse as an adoption agency, the library foundation, a firm providing pediatric speech therapy, an ambulance company, and even the Alamo. She served as the part time CFO for a large museum in San Antonio and for a firm that provides medical expert witnesses for insurance injury defense cases.
Jeannie has served on a variety of non-profit boards. She has been on the boards of several organizations supporting children, including AFS Intercultural Programs, The Children’s Shelter, Voices for Children, and was the board chair for Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas for four years.
She earned a BS in Mathematical Sciences and a MS in Engineering Economics, both from Stanford University. She is married and has two grown children.
