Greg Foley didn’t know what he wanted to be when he grew up. So he never really grew up. Just like Dex Dingo, he’s always wanted to be the World’s Best Greatest Ever at something. He tries his best at being lots of different things, such as author, illustrator, designer, director, cartoonist, New Yorker cover artist, teacher, inventor, and dad.
Along the way, Greg has received numerous honors, including the Charlotte Zolotow Award, Art Directors Club Gold and Silver Awards, a Grammy nomination, and a Guinness World Record. His work has been exhibited at places such as the Museum of Modern Art, Centre Pompidou, New York Public Library, Yale’s Beinecke Library, and many more. He is the author/illustrator of 13 books, including Thank You Bear, Willoughby & the Moon, Purple Little Bird, Kat Writes a Song, and Dex Dingo: World’s Best Greatest Ever! Greg lives in Austin, Texas, with his family.
Greg is joining the Book Festival to discuss the latest in the Dex Dingo series, Dex Dingo: World’s Best Greatest Ever Archaeologist!
