About the Event

Two authors put refreshing spins on vampire stories! Maria the Wanted by V. Castro follows the Mexican newly turned vampire Maria, who isn’t just out for blood: she wants answers. Blood Slaves by Markus Redmond reimagines the vampire origin story in the early days of American slavery and blends alternate history and supernatural horror. This session will ask who the real monsters are—and is a must-attend for horror lovers.
