The San Antonio Book Festival has brought our community together through the power of books, ideas, and literacy. This past April, we had a record-breaking year of over 25,000 attendees- readers, families, students, and authors who gathered downtown for one of San Antonio’s largest free cultural events.
Now, City funding for the Festival is at risk. We’re asking our community of readers and supporters to help make their voices heard and protect the public investment. How to Help before the Council Vote happening on September 17:
- Sign the petition and share it with friends, family, book clubs, and fellow readers to show your support for continued City funding.
- Share our social media posts and newsletters with your network why the festival matters.
- Speak up with our advocacy toolkit, which gives you the tools and resources to advocate on behalf of the Book Festival.
