Welcome to the Virtual Book Festival for Kids & Teens
If you have children and teens in your home right now, in this bizarre time of social distancing and opting to stay at home more, kudos to you for whatever strategies you’re implementing to keep them learning and/or entertained. We’re here to help.
We’ve partnered with our good friends at The DoSeum to bring you a virtual mini book festival—five days of pre-recorded videos from some of our Festival writers of children’s and young adult books. The DoSeum has been a valued partner of the Book Festival for several years; you can always find them in the children’s area at the Festival, offering some sort of fun activity for kids to do. While nothing can replace the magic that happens at the actual, in-person Book Festival, we hope you enjoy these pre-recorded videos from our Festival writers. You can also visit thedoseum.org to follow along each day and participate in a literacy activity.
